    Jason played for St George in Australia and then came to England to play for Nottingham Outlaws. He moved to Huddersfield, York and then to Salford. Jason played for Huddersfield against the touring Australians inthe early nineties at Leeds Road football ground.

    Jason Laurence was a very gifted fullback Centre fast strong and great under the high ball. His UK professional career lasted 9 years after two seasions in the lower grades at St Georgeds in Australia His was a prolific try scorer with 36 tries in 43 apperences for Hudderrsfield Giants. Moving to York Wasp in 1994 he scored 33 tries in 39 apperences. In July 1996 he signed to play for Solford Reds in the super league where he scored 4 tries in 5 first team games before being injured. In 1997 he moved to Hull FC. to a mixed seasion and signed to keighly in the same year. He made 43 apperances scoring 31 tries before retiering in October 1999 .
