"Bill" Conlon also played for NSW against Qld in the 30's. Also Country vs City where he was carried off the field for scoring 20 points. He was a fullback. Also captain coached Waratah Mayfield in the 30's and was up for selection for the 1930,..,. team to tour England. He was a native of Murwillumbah where he played in many representative matches.

There is quite a lot of data about my father in the Newcastle library. It would be nice to see this website updated.
