Match Notes
The game was originally scheduled for Tue 23/5 but due to bad weather was postponed a day and played on Wed 24/5.
John White did not return for the 2nd half for Qld and was replaced by Col Reynolds with Reg Cooke moving to 5/8 and Reynolds to the centre, Geoff Connell was carried from the field in the 55th minute and was replaced by Les Geeves, Dennis Manteit 6 mins later was stretchered off the field with a back injury and taken to hospital.
Tony Branson & Bill Bradstreet were non-playing reserves for NSW.
