Match Notes
Fullback Phil Harris & 5/8 Don Green were late withdrawals from the Northern Division team who had earlier lost captain Peter Bouton & winger Doug White all through injury, Barry Glass then failed a fitness test on the morning of the game and Leon Shearer came into the team from the reserve bench and David Welsh was the new reserve forward.
