Jim Cody dropped out of the Wests team on Thursday and was replaced by Kevin Timbs, Tom Raudonikis withdrew on Saturday with a shoulder injury and was replaced by John Maxwell.
Phil Smith, John Sattler & Gary Stevens withdrew from the Souths team with injuries and were replaced by Alan Heiler, Dallas O'Neill & Gordon Fraser.
Paul Sait limped off before halftime with a knee injury and was replaced by Darrel Bampton then in the 2nd half George Piggins replaced Gordon Fraser due to a broken nose.
Wayne Merry replaced Tim Murphy due to a shoulder injury.
