Match Notes
Terry Reynolds was allowed to play by the Canterbury club as long as he taped up his long hair. Alan Burwell dropped out of the team due to injury he was replaced on the wing by Ray Strudwick with Wayne Peckham in the centre.
Barry Bryant was sent off for punching late in the 1st half.
