Allan Agar resigned as manager of Featherstone after 62-nil loss to Wigan on 27 October 1985. According to match programmes (which can be accessed on https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/), George Pieniazek commenced his role as replacement manager for the match against Wigan on 17 November 1985.
