Biography

Newcastle junior secured a first grade place at P’matta where his speed has been used to good affect on the wing. An accomplished goal-kicker before the arrival of Jason Taylor at the club, Burt returned from injury in the early part of 2002 to take his place in the grand final, where he converted four second-half tries in P’matta’s 30-24 loss to Newcastle.

    Great player and only one of five players to score 100 tries and kick 500 goals (along with El Masri, Girdler, Croker & Lyon).
