Biography

Former Brisbane lower grade player (1992-95) played for French club St Esteve in 1996, winning the French National RL Competition. He appeared in 54 games for the English Super League club in 1999-2000 before rupturing his knee and returning to Australia. After a season with Ipswich Jets Seibold applied for a German passport in 2003 (his North Rockhampton parents are of German origin ) and became the first German national to play in the English Northern Ford Premiership. Seibold was later named captain of the famous Hull Kingston Rovers club under the coaching of former St George and Newcastle halfback Steve Linnane.
