Biography
Bullocking Gordon winger played in 6 RU Tests between 1975-76. Although rated the best winger on the 1975-76 Wallaby tour, Ryan’s Rugby career was in decline when he changed codes in 1977. Ryan's first season with Penrith was fairly disappointing and the club failed to register his contract the following season. Ryan sat on the sidelines until June 30 when Penrith finally called on him, and he gave good service to the battling club for the next two seasons. He died tragically in 1982, aged 33.
