Biography
Bullocking Manly winger propelled the club into the 1959 grand final with a barging try to beat Wests 14-13 in the final. Hugo played in two grand finals for the club (1957-59) without success.

Rex Marre says: I was only in my mid-teens at the time and a prospective forward, but was always fascinated how a man as big as George could run as fast and powerfully as he did. Be interesting to speculate how he would have gone on the end of the current Eagles back-line (18/08/2013)
