Biography

Newtown junior, with a background in Australian Rules, had a season playing rugby league in Papua New Guinea in 1968 before being graded with the Blue Bags. Casey won a reserve grade premiership with the club in 1970, commencing a long career as a hard-working prop. He captained Newtown in the late 1970s before becoming captain-coach of Campbelltown in 1979.

    Played for Campbelltown Warriors in 1979 then Woy Woy in 1980.

    Was with him when he was supposed to to play 3rd grade against south’s at the old sports ground he went to the shed to change he was back in 5min what’s happening mate harry said you’re playing 1st grads he could not believe it -1st scrum sattler said just play your normal normal game don’t try and be ahero
