Goal-kicking winger represented Queensland against NSW and France in 1964 but had to battle the QRL in order to move to Sydney and play for the Eels.

    Was Arch Brown the famous "Barefooted Kicker" for the Parramatta Eels. (Round about the 1960's or so on.) Can not find any history on it but i would like to know. Please solve this mystery for me

    i saw arch brown play and he rarely got the ball as parra relied on forwards very fast and competitive with dave irvine on the other wing two of the fastest backs who hardly had a decent centre inside them.

    Yes arch brown was the barefoot kicker, he is my step dads father and confirmed this himself

    I remember Arch Brown and Eric Simms from South Sydney Rabbitohs having kicking duels from end to end of the field

    He was my pop and he was absolutely awesome, he is gone now but he showed me his footage and he was awesome

    My step pop taught me a lot about footy, this was arch brown, I loved him and I still can’t find footage of his games so if anyone can find some please send them to me
