Your Say

Rhonda says: MY mother was the sister of Alf. She died 25 years ago. She was very proud of Alf and always supported norths. Alf had another brother Ron, who was also killed in ww2 over France. It was very sad for the family when both boys were killed. There were 2 sisters and 1 brother left. Their mother (my nana) died before I was born. She was in her late 50s. They say from a broken heart. My mother always said Alf was a wonderful player and the family went to all his games (16/08/2013)
