    The Guy they called the Hound, a great fullback for Newtown and Manly also won the 1973 res grade Grand Final with Manly against St George, I had the great fortune of seeing him play for both Manly and Newtown just a wonderful player.

    This is Allan Maddalena….
    I did play the 1971 RLF season with Newtown
    Also played 11 first grade games in 1972 with Manly RFL while Graham Eadie suffered hamstring injury Thx

    Hello Alan, thank you for the terrific memories of that era of rugby league and the Sydney-side scene. A great and unique time to be growing up.
