    I grew up with his son Cahil. In the early years he was very involved with our footy team, i.e. St. Joachims, Lidcombe and Ben edict, Auburn. He coached us in early days and I remember him as a very polite, quietly spoken gentleman. My father informed me he was one of the best hookers in the game in his day.
