Just a correction re my father in England. He did transfer to Hull F.C. at the end of the Australian 1936 season, however he had 4 Seasons with them until WW2.
1936-37 2 Appearances
1937-38 34 Appearances 21 Tries
1938-39 27 Appearances 7 Tries
1939-40 3 Appearances 1 Try
The 1937-38 Season included the Yorkshire Cup Final at Odsal Stadium.

My father played for Hull FC 1937 till 1939 when the war broke out.

Played for Hull FC for 4 seasons. 66 Games scoring 29 tries. Only 2 full seasons due to his late arrival in 1937 and the war in 1939. He played in the Yorkshire Cup final against Huddersfield in 1938 at Odsal Stadium.
