Biography
George ‘Big-'un’ Williams played RU with Christian Brothers Waverley and Aussie Rules with Christian Brothers Wagga. Starting his rugby league career with Wagga in 1925, he later played for Cowra and Junee. Williams represented Country in 1932 and was selected as prop for NSW. He also played for Riverina v. England and was the sole try-scorer in the State match against the Lions. After one season with Norths, Williams returned to the country to play with Griffith and Dubbo.
