Biography

South African RU convert played for Wakefield Trinity in England for four seasons as a centre/five-eighth. Skene guested with Souths during 1963 - the year South Africa made an ill-fated tour of Australia – and played in the centres in both of his country's Test losses that year (34-6 in Brisbane and 54-21 in Sydney).
