Biography
Moved to Lithgow in 1962 and was selected for Country Firsts and NSW before being named as reserve for the First Test team against Great Britain he was then called into the Second Test team in Brisbane when Johnny Raper was injured and was again named as reserve for the Third Test when Raper returned.
Following a move to Narrandera in 1963 was again selected for Country Firsts and also represented Riverina against New Zealand he was then signed by Manly at the end of the 1963 season and spent 2 years at Manly before transferring to South Newcastle in 1966.
He is the uncle of former Balmain and NSW player Trevor Ryan.
