Biography
Brisbane hooker made his debut for Queensland in 1958 and played in all three interstate matches as well as a tour match against Great Britain. Gehrke's performances in four interstate matches in 1961 earned him a place on the Australian tour of NZ but he did not play in a Test. He later spent two modest seasons with Souths.
