Biography

Manly prop spent four seasons in the club's lower grades before cementing a first grade place in 1959. That year he was selected for NSW in the fourth match of the interstate series and, following his performance in Manly's grand final loss to St George, toured with the 1959-60 Kangaroos. Delamere played in 19 matches on tour, and while he did not make a Test appearance, he did play in the 'international' match against Italy on the trip home. He then represented NSW in two matches in 1960 and was a non-playing reserve in the World Cup.
