Additional Notes
Served in WWI - Service # 23293 Not to be confused with his brother Edmund "Ned" Boland who played 40 games for Norths. Paddy only played one game of first grade rugby league which was for Cumberland when he was drafted in from the Norths team with Herbert Odbert as Cumberland could only field 11 players in the round 9 game of 1908. He had played Rugby Union in Parramatta & North Sydney and in 1908 followed his brother Ned to play with Norths however never made the first grade team. In 1909 he was reinstated back into the Rugby Union and played in the Tramways team in the North Sydney District before the Tramways switched to Rugby League in 1911. After retirement he become involved in administration with the North Sydney Rugby League Club.
