Saw him on a Monday night when Souths beat Manly at the SCG in 1985, he scored a try

Les Biles was an outstanding and much-underestimated wing for Souths, especially in the 1985 season when he was our highest try scorer. I have very special memories cheering him on from the hill at Redfern Oval and SCG in the mid 80s. A beautiful finisher. I just wish “Lester Q”, as he was also known, kept playing regular first-grade footy for us beyond the 1986 season. Tom
