Biography

Canberra junior played RU for Daramalan Catholic College (rep Country U23s) before switching codes. Hardy played for Queanbeyan Blues under Don Furner before linking with Macquarie United in the Newcastle competition in 1981. He needed steel plates inserted in a broken arm before linking with Furner during Canberra's foundation season and capped his comeback when he became the club's first rep player when chosen for City Seconds in 1983.
