    Lovely guy, beautiful wife! Coached Griffith Black and Whites in mid 80s. I babysat for them. Good people!

    Tough as teak forward, never gave a inch and never expected to be given on in return. Great Jet who played in a great era for this outstanding club. Still the best jumper ever worn by a rugby league team!

    Mick Pitman played for Lakes United in the Newcastle competition before moving to Newtown. After leaving Canterbury he was captain/ coach of Kurri Kurri in 1984, from where he was picked to represent N.S.W. Country
