One of the best ever. The most gifted freakish player in both codes. Always appreciated the fans of the game. Unfortunately football politics kept him out last season which is a shame he could of been a valuable asset to the Reds. But they just wouldn't play him. Seeing him on the bench and unplayed during his last professional game last year was a disgusting way to treat a star. He was definitely the peoples choice and the fans favorite. All the best Walks.

I think Andrew rocks! The first time I saw him play was for the Reds and i could see he was a great player. He definitely left a huge space when he retired and he is the reason why I support the Reds.

Andrew Walker is still one of the best players I have seen. He is playing for Fassifern Bombers in Ipswich and still leaves people grabbing thin air. And also he helps orginase an austag game every week for the kids

Wonderfully gifted player. Magic hands and great speed and agility. Hope life is happy for Andrew.

I am a dragons fan & was devastated when he left the saints, I used to go & watch him play reserve grade for the roosters, awesome player!!

W hat a player ! I enjoyed each and every game of ACT Brumbies and Australia during his era. I am a South African but when Andrew was against the Springboks or any South African Super 12 than, I would support him and his team. A good player indeed.

I was lucky enough to watch Andrew play u10 rugby league for the Nowra warriors. Even at that young age he was a gifted and mecurial tallent. One of those special players that could do aanything.

In 1994 I saw Andrew Walker kick a field goal from near the sideline in a reserve grade semi against the Bulldogs to win the game ! So naturally gifted and a freak with the ball in his hands. May not have been a very long career at the top but an outstanding one in both codes all the same.

I played all my Junior football League and Union against and with Andrew. Not only is he the most talented and hardest players I have ever had the pleasure of pulling on the boots with, he was a great team mate and adversary. My greatest memory is him tearing apart the u17 national rugby championships for NSW country in which he was clearly the player of the tournament and subsequently selected in the Australian rep team.
Prior to that tournament the NSW Country rugby side was in camp in Sydney and Andrew was kicking an old leather ball 60m on the fly in bare feet on Coogee oval, a feat which didn’t go un noticed by one Jeff Sale, the Randwick first grade coach at the time and the rest they say is history.
Go well Walks. It’s been a pleasure to watch from afar over your brilliant career.
