Biography

Former Auckland fullback, a Junior Kiwi in 1998, shifted to the centres at Parramatta where he proved to be a powerful attacking player. Vaealiki represented NZ in the 2000 World Cup and played in three Test matches with the Kiwis in 2001. That year, he also took his place in the Eels’ unsuccessful grand final team. Vaealiki made his Test debut against Australia in 2003 but left the Eels at the end of the disappointing 2004 season and signed with Wigan in the English Super League.

    A great Parra player who showed enormous potential and could have been one of Parras all time greats had things gone his way.
