Biography

Unknown Easts junior was promoted to first grade for the club’s 1975 grand final against St George after Test centre Mark Harris broke his leg in the preliminary final. After breaking his shoulder in a trial match against St George in early 1976, Reinberger made his return in the club’s U’23s team that won the premiership that year. A talented cricketer who represented Australian Schoolboys in 1972, the 21-year-old did not play in another first grade rugby league match but had a long and influential career in Indoor Cricket.
