Harry Pierce had been thought to be 3 different players either Pierce or Pearce with Glebe, Souths & Annandale however using facial recognition of team photos & AIF photos from WWI it confirmed this player to be the same man. Served with the 5th Pioneers in WWI enlisted August 1915 and promoted to 2nd Lieutenant in July 1916 and after the war served in the AIF until 1922 in the Australian Graves Service in England.
