I had the pleasure of meeting Dominic when I was a teenager. He was one of the most consistent players I have witnessed. When there was a dropped ball inevitably Dominic was onto it. A solid defender and a gentlemen off the field.

We had the absolute good fortune to play with ‘Domo’ at Westmead Teachers College in our inaugural team there in 1970.
That year our barely assembled team managed to play the might of Sydney University in the University Cup as a NSW v Queensland curtain raiser at the SCG.
We lost this game but as ever ‘Domo’ led the way through the middle of the ruck and fringes with his robust play.
‘Domo’ was hearty, good natured teammate. He is positively remembered by anybody privileged to have played with him.
