Jim, Coached me in University Cup, for Teachers club, nice Guy, had a couple of good seasons in first grade, he was compared to Ron Coote at one stage, little bit like comparing the next good cricketer to Bradman it never helps.

Jim Myers was a great teacher.. I was bullied severely at school for being overweight ..I remember him sitting on the steps outside the classroom with me after I ran out of the room in tears after being teased in front of the whole class ..I recall he told me growing up he was called a "long streak of misery"...I have never forgotten the kindness and empathy he showed to me that day ..the year was 1974 I was 11 years old...A great athlete, teacher and gentleman
