Biography

Blonde-haired pivot, a Souths junior, toured NZ with a Combined Sydney side in 1976. Two years later, Hayward was jailed in Bangkok for drug trafficking where he served a decade of his life sentence. Hayward's tragic life ended the year after his release from prison in April 1989.
