    acrowd favourite at lidcombe oval with his long blond hair started his career at five eight for the magpies teaming up with the great tommy raudonoikis. After many seasons at the club john found his way to the second row.

    Chester hill junior apparently on his day was as good as anyone

    Graded by Wests but was a Canterbury junior, Chester Hill.
    Spent some time playing for Illawarra Wests and Brisbane Norths.
