Alan is my cousin and we always listened to the games that he played in if it was broadcast on the radio. I remember him playing for the Magpies and we’re excited when he joined Canterbury Bankstown. I’m 60 and have been a Canterbury supporter for as long as I can remember.

I flatted with Alan in Coogee late 1967. I always wondered if he married Faye.
My surname then was Murphy.
