Biography
Former Irish RU international forward played for NSW in 1962 while playing League in Wagga. This brought Gourley under the notice of reigning premiers St George, which he joined the following year. Gourley did not make an appearance in the club's grand final-winning sequence until 1965 and he moved to Wauchope after the 1966 grand final success over Balmain to become a grazier. There, he captain-coached Narrabri and also represented NSW Country.

A very hard working player helping St.George winning those grand final he played in. Tough as nails as a forward I wish we could have him now in2018
