Ross was my father, he loved his football in the central tablelands district and was coached by Tony Paskins. He respected Tony a great deal and was privileged to play for Manly. As a son playing football - he was a great mentor who would never come on the field at half time - he would just shake my hand at the end of every single game and say "good game".
