Your Say

Neville is the last living sibling from 5 brothers and 4 sisters. (Uncle Nev) Nevel is the younger brother of George. George represented Australia, played for Balmain & Eastern Suburbs.
Nev is doing Ok, his knees are giving him trouble but he is still as witty as ever. Nev loves a punt and a sneaky VB wile listening to the races.

Today we laid to rest ‘Nev’ Neville Watt. Born 21.12.1930 he passed peacefully in his home on 31.1.2019. What a legend, a player ahead of his time. His blood line (Younger brother of George and nephew of Horrie Watt) insured he was skilled, tough and did everything he could to better his opposition number. A handy goal kicking hooker who also played, lock, second row and front row for the tigers. The 17th player in Balmain Tigers club history to play 100 first grade games.
RIP Nev
