This match was originally scheduled to be played at Brelsford Park at Coffs Harbour but due to the condition of the ground it was shifted to Oakes Oval at Lismore.
The Sydney newspapers reported Kelvin Kelly as kicking the 2 goals for the North Coast but the local Northern Star reports Kevin Cahill as the goal kicker.
