Valleys were leading 19-8 when Barry Muir confronted referee Rick Pollock regarding a scrum in the lead up to Valleys’ last try and was sent off. According to Pollock, Muir threatened to take the Wests team from the field if he was dismissed. Pollock sent him off and Muir followed through.
