Biography
Balmain centre/five-eighth, graded from the local juniors in 1928, later continued his coaching career in Kempsey and Port Macquarie. As St George coach in 1948-50 he took St George to premiership victory in 1949. Duckworth returned to coach the Tigers in 1951 and was later an Australian selector and vice-president of the NSWRL.
