Biography
Former Canberra lower grade hooker cemented a place in St George's first grade team and played in the grand final loss to Brisbane in 1992. Collins found his position under threat from rookie Nathan Brown the following year but after playing in the club's second consecutive grand final defeat, spent most of the 1994 season in reserve grade before signing with the South Queensland Crushers. Collins finished his career with a season at Leeds in 1997.

He played his Junior league in Merimbula. Always punched above his weight. Credit to the game on and Off the field.

Has lived for football highly successfull in both playing and coaching People skills great hold 2 silver and Gold medals and coached six winning coached sides in Australia and England.

Knows Rugby League fully Ian Walsh Daily Telegraph once said of Wayne best Hooker he ever saw play the game.
