Biography

West Wyalong product toured England with the 1929-30 Kangaroos, playing in three Tests against England, after coming to Sydney club Wests. A rugged labourer and a more than capable boxer, Brogan's Test appearances on tour included the historic scoreless draw in the Third Test at Swinton and the Fourth Test at Rochdale. Brogan was later appointed captain-coach of the Wests’ club in 1933 but returned to the country and captain-coached Warialda and later, Moree.
