Biography

Easts forward, yet another RU convert, played for NSW in 1911 before touring with the 'Australasian’ Kangaroos at the end of the year. Williams played in two Tests against England and was used as a hooker/prop in 17 other matches on tour. The following year he went on NSW's first tour of NZ. Williams played in a hat-trick of premiership-winning seasons with Easts (1911-13) and later coached Queensland and Norths (1939).
