The Ron McAuliffe Medal is awarded to the player adjudged to be Queensland's best player of the series each year.
From its inception in 1992 until 2003, this award was known as the Wally Lewis Medal. It was renamed after the decision was made to award the Wally Lewis Medal to the overall player of each year's State of Origin series.
