    Des was my cousin, his father was my fathers step brother. My fathers name was also Walter Frank. Their mother was Annie Elizabeth Frank-nee Clarkson. The family originated in east yorkshire but migrated to Castleford to find employment in the coalmines where Des also worked when not involved in his beloved rugby.
