My uncle was given Wilf Hodder's match winners medals after he died and they have now been given to me. I shall be selling them soon if anyone is interested. Otherwise I'll just be putting them on eBay as I know nothing about rugby. I even had to look up who Wilf Hodder was - sorry!

I have been researching my family tree and just found out that Wilfred Hodder, was my great, great grandfather. My grandfather, Harold Tainton died when my father was 8 years old. Another brother of my grandfather was killed at Ypres in the first world war. There were other children that died previously, it seems that the most of the surviving siblings moved away. I believe one of siblings of Harold moved to the Pontypool area.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Both rugby league and union play an important part in my family history, with another great grandfather Thomas Garfield Harrison, and his brothers playing both codes and more recently my third cousin Alan Bateman. Many Thanks Kevin
