Hi Ken I use to work for Esso oil company Botany. I delivered bulk oils and grease and then the fuel to your depot tanker driver. Ken worked as a fuel tanker driver for clay and Michel at Kirrawee and at that yard also was Poppa Clay 5/8 legend for St George. Ken was a total gentleman happy and a good bloke to know, me being about 25 at that time spent many years serving their depot and morning tea with them!
Just like to say hello Kenny very good fond memories of you mate.
Cheers. Mark

I believe that Ken Batty was recommended to St.George by Dick Huddart ? Ken played for Wakefield Trinity in the late 60's when they won the English Champiuonship. I think Huddart thought that Batty would be a good replacement for Johnny King who had retired.
