Ron Raper again dropped out of the Canterbury team with an injured shoulder and was replaced by Wayne Golding.
Bland Liles pulled out of the Parramatta team on Friday with bruised ribs and was replaced by Terry Scurfield.
Les Johns retired at halftime with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Peter Inskip Greg Purcell replaced Marty Driscoll due to a head injury.
Ron Lynch left the field in the 2nd half with a shoulder injury and was replaced by Des Mount.
