Biography

Older brother of Ray Branighan, and the father of Luke Branighan, was a centre in the Rabbitohs’ grand final loss to St George in 1965 in front of 78,056 fans. Arthur Branighan also played in the club's 23-12 win over Manly in 1970.

    A great team member with strength and speed. Very underrated.

    Ray Branighan was a very solid all round centre who played many seasons during South's glory days. A most underrated centre.
